I've been baking for as long as I can remember. I think the experimentation began when I ran out of pre-packaged mixes for my "Easy Bake" oven.
Needless to say, it was an easy decision for me to choose baking as my trade. I graduated at the top of my class from the Vancouver Community College baking and pastry arts program in June of '99. While I've worked at a number of bakeries in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Winnipeg, I still dream of having the creative freedom that would come with owning my own shop.
Tom's cake looks kinda like the cookies you make for us...by the way, when can we expect some more of those?
